The French company Opinel is well-known for their distinctive pocket knives, but they also make great knives for in the kitchen. These kitchen knives from the Parallèle-series are equipped with a wooden handle which is protected by a clear coating. Because of the coating, and of course the stainless X50CrMoV15 steel, they can go into the dishwasher. However, we always prefer to wash them by hand. There are different models which you can use for all kinds of work in the kitchen. The knives from the Opinel Parallèle-series are good value for money. Just like the regular Opinel knives, these kitchen knives can have their small imperfections in the finish here and there, but this is what gives them character. They are really user-friendly and always get the job done.
